Keith D. Clark is a Doctor of Clinical Hypnotherapy and Professor of Human Communication. He is also an Author, Consultant, Therapist, Trainer, and Lecturer. Keith has been involved in the field of Human Potential since 1974.
Keith was fortunate to belong to a family with a long history in healing and spirituality. As with most children, his early childhood experiences were strongly shaped by family beliefs and practices. Fortunately in his case, these family practices were largely based upon experiences of his Maternal Great-Grandfather, a turn-of-the-century medical doctor.
Growing up in Southern California, he loved the outdoors, particularly water related activities. He was very physical as a youth, active in swimming, surfing, sailing, skiing, diving, and team sports in school. Improving personal performance was something he learned at a very early age.
As with most of us, Keith took many aspects of his life for granted, just assuming that everyone had similar beliefs and experiences. It wasn't until college that Keith began to realize that he indeed had some different insights into things. One of his professors said "Keith wouldn't accept anything without proof and substantiation."
It was at this point in his life that Keith began working with hypnosis. He received his first training in hypnosis in a college course. After that he began working on both himself, and with others on a variety of things from performance enhancement in sports, to overcoming fears and phobias.
Keith has a natural gregariousness, command of language, and a genuine love and concern for people. This led him initially into the field of Public Relations. Although involved in the business world, he continued studying in the field of human potential, evaluating and applying different beliefs and techniques as he was exposed to them.
In the early '80's he relocated to Florida. One beautiful morning on the beach in 1983 he was involved in a surfing accident. The accident resulted in paralysis, from his chest down, leaving him with limited use of his arms, hands, and fingers. This gave Keith a new opportunity to further his education and resourcefulness. As part of his own rehabilitation and recovery Keith literally began living his beliefs. He continues to improve, and expects to experience a full recovery.
Since that time Keith has been involved in an very eclectic life of study, research, and application in neuro physics. In the early '90's he moved to Hawai'i to experience, study, and experiment more closely with energy work. While in Hawai'i he had the opportunity to work with hundreds of people from throughout the world. From there he traveled to South America, and experienced even more and differing beliefs, variations, and practices.
Keith has earned a Masters Degree in Human Communication and a Doctoral Degree in Clinical Hypnotherapy. In addition to traditional academia, Keith is also a Trainer of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Time Linetm Therapy, and Hypnotherapy. From a more esoteric direction, Keith is also a Reiki Master, and student of Huna (an ancient Hawai'ian art and science of healing), Kinesiology, and music/sound therapy.
"To be of service to others is the highest calling." To that end Keith became a Professor of Human Communication, Therapist, Author, and Lecturer. His mastery of language, along with extensive research and training in transformational technologies, led him to the development of The Body Contouring Programmetm. The unique combination of techniques he employs allows individuals to experience often dramatic, lasting physical changes, as well as mental, emotional, and even spiritual shifts.
In addition to developing the techniques used in The Body Contouring Programmetm, he has written the book You're Sharp Enough To Be Your Own Surgeon, and is a contributing author to Using Your Whole Brain. To further assist in personal transformation and intradependence he has developed individual and multiple-series of audio cassette tapes. Keith has written a national column on Human Communication. He has served on The Advisory Council on Health and Medical Care Services for The State of California.
Keith has presented his material on radio, television, in lectures and seminars internationally. Thousands of people have experienced and benefitted from his techniques. Some have been fortunate enough to see him as a client, others have their experience of him in book, tape, or media form.
